Heck no, Angela. Short story or novel, its still hard work and still takes me away from doing all the other things I feel guilt over doing. I wish I could focus on one or the other. Finish a short story collection? Finish the novel? try something I can maybe make some money with? Get a FT teaching job so I can have a maid? bleh.

Moriah, you wanna buy it?

So are you trying to say I should stop trying to write my stupid novel and focus on short stories??

Your house is gorgeous. No wonder the effort to keep it clean is Herculean! It's an estate! Good luck in your downsizing adventure.
