Thanks Rebecca--Little sisters are great cheerleaders:)

Kay-Wow thanks for stopping by. I am a fan of your work and have your book.

Tamlynn--Tough call. Take some time to think over another adoption. Let God lead you in your decision and remember one great blessing of adoption is the opportunity to adopt into your 50s and beyond.

Thanks for your comments

Beautiful story. My heart breaks thinking of all those children waiting in orphanages all over the world and in foster homes here in our country. My husband and I adopted our two children and I am torn between being content with my family as is and searching for someone else to join us. I can't decide if I really want another child or if I merely romanticize the idea of easing a child's suffering. Personal problem, I know.

Thanks for sharing this experience.

JoAnna,

This is a very well-written, concise narrative about your Gotcha time. The way you described the aversion to the hotel room and 'mama' is very common. The description of the orphanage really hit home because I know from lots of experience that it is right on. I'm glad you and Hong Mei were able to attach and I wish you a lifetime of love with your daughter.

JoAnn, Great story! If we could all get a Amy then I want one. I think you should add more details and write a book. I think your book would sale out and become popular.
